An 18-seater bus plunged into the Owena River along Akure-Ondo road in Ondo State, today.
The driver, who was heading to Akure, the state capital, lost control of the vehicle and it fell off the bridge into the river.
The Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ondo State, Ahmed Hassan, told reporters that seven passengers, who were rescued, have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
The remaining passengers have not been accounted for.
