The immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has died from after weeks of battle with COVID-19 complications.
He was 70.
The late governor had been battling for his life for several weeks. He had been in a coma and on life support for days after a surgery at the First Cardiology Hospital, Ikoyi, in Lagos.
